Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting Röeders in Germany to present and showcase some of our latest developments and features in CIMCO Probing.

For the presentation, we highlighted new features specifically designed to support custom workflows and enhance the use of probing.

    Key points from our presentation:

    • We demonstrated the new Custom Cycle Builder in CIMCO Probing, which allows the creation of cycles that utilize the native POINT3D measurement on Röeders machines.

    • Using the Custom Output tool in CIMCO Probing, we added a 3D Point Inspect. This feature stores the measured X, Y, and Z coordinates on the machine in a file, along with an operation ID reference when enabled for the cycle.

    • We showcased how this file could be reloaded into Mastercam using the Inspect feature in CIMCO Probing, providing an overview of surface deviations compared to our solid model. See screenshot below.

With the integration of the Custom Cycle Builder, Custom Output, and Inspect features, we are confident that these tools will significantly enhance overall utility and open up new and exciting possibilities for using probing.
