We are in the process of developing a new reporting system that streamlines the collection and analysis of probing measurement data. This system will facilitate the generation of measurement code and allow for easy import of measurement data into Mastercam for viewing or sharing.
Custom Logs
We have introduced a feature called Custom Log, enabling the embedding of specific commands within your NC file. These commands trigger the CNC control to produce a measurement file during the probing operation. This file can then be imported back into Mastercam Probing.
Recognizing the importance of simplicity, we have designed an intuitive editor within Mastercam Probing to manage Custom Logs. We are also preparing to release a series of Custom Log templates tailored to different control types, all compatible with our new reporting system.
Measurement Report
We have also created a reporting system to import measurement files directly into Mastercam Probing. It presents measurement data as geometric visuals in the simulation, color-coded according to their adherence to specified tolerances. This feature provides an instant, and clear overview of your measurements.
Storing and Sharing Data
Measurements imported into Mastercam Probing are stored within your Mastercam file, linking your results directly to the part file. This integration simplifies the sharing process with other Mastercam users, allowing you to send the Mastercam part file and provide easy access to your measurement results.
Additionally, we are enabling the creation of PDF reports, making it possible to share your measurement data in PDF format.
